Ulrika Messer is senior vice president of APTIM’s Remediation and Technical Solutions strategic business unit. Ulrika has over 20 years of experience managing large-scale engineering, environmental, and construction projects, as well as providing technical and management consulting for federal, state, local, and private sector clients. Ulrika has been with APTIM since 2009, when she joined as a project manager for environmental cleanup contracts with the U.S. Navy. She cares deeply about environmental issues. Prior to becoming a consultant on Department of Defense projects, she worked with several large North American and European petroleum companies to develop more environmentally sustainable end-user products.
Ulrika has a chemical engineering degree from the University of Vaxjo in Sweden and a Master of Science and Engineering degree in environmental engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in England. She is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program at Rice University in Houston and is a licensed civil engineer in California.
