Offering expertise in key lifeline sectors, such as power, water, and housing, APTIM has supported disaster recovery operations from every type of declared event, including hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, fires, earthquakes, and pandemics.

APTIM delivers disaster recovery program support to communities following a disaster and aids public officials to implement a long-term planning process that fosters a resilient future. Our recovery cadre have sector-specific experience within public utilities (i.e., water and electric) and housing, so we understand the immediate and long-term recovery needs of a community. Because APTIM constructs and maintains critical infrastructure facilities, we are knowledgeable about damage to community lifelines.

With our construction management expertise and understanding of a potential rebuild, we can guide FEMA and the community on what is allowable and provide an accurate justification for reimbursement. In addition, APTIM’s former executive-level government teammates have designed, implemented, and closed out Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery-funded recovery programs involving housing, buyouts, economic development, and small and large infrastructure projects.
