Our 12-week summer internship program is designed to provide qualified students with paid opportunities to apply their knowledge, passion, and drive to meaningful work assignments in a collaborative environment at APTIM offices and project sites across the US.

About STRIVE
The STRIVE Summer Internship Program is designed primarily for rising seniors, other students approaching graduation, and recent graduates. The program runs annually from May through August. Each intern joins one of APTIM’s strategic business units and works with a supervisor who provides project direction, support, and feedback throughout the summer.
Interns gain real-world experience through goal setting, project work, team meetings, presentations, and exposure to APTIM’s people and projects.
In addition to their day-to-day work, STRIVE interns come together virtually each week to:
- Explore APTIM’s diverse portfolio
- Strengthen skills for the transition from student to professional
- Connect with leaders, professionals, and peers across the company
- Learn how APTIM delivers solutions for clients and communities
Interns gain insight into work spanning infrastructure management, engineering, energy transition, remediation, sustainability, and more.
Throughout the program, interns experience APTIM’s collaborative culture in action by communicating openly, supporting one another, showing appreciation, and honoring commitments. STRIVE also introduces interns to APTIM’s industry-leading safety culture and the shared responsibility we have to protect our teammates, communities, and environment.
The cohort concludes the summer together at STRIVE Live, an in-person event at one of our office locations, including professional development topics, connection with APTIM leaders and peers, and group presentations to our Leadership Team.
