News Flash: Small Quantity Generator Re-Notification Due September 1, 2021
If you generate hazardous waste at the small quantity generator (SQG) level and your state has adopted the Hazardous Waste Generator Improvement Rule (HWGIR), then a re-notification is required to be submitted to your regulating agency no later than September 1, 2021.

To meet this re-notification requirement, EPA and some states are allowing previous (pre-2021) submittals of SQG notifications, while others are requiring the notification to be submitted in 2021.
