E-Manifest Public Meeting | Upcoming Event

Participate in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Electronic Manifest Advisory Board Public Meeting

Electronic Manifest Advisory Board Virtual Meeting

From February 28 through March 2, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Hazardous Waste Electronic Manifest (e-Manifest) System Advisory Board will be hosting a public meeting called “Meeting the Needs of the User Community: e-Manifest Program Priorities and User Fees for FY 2024 and 2025.” The meeting will be virtual and open to the public for the opportunity to make comments. Each day’s meeting is scheduled from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern time.

The focus of the sessions is to obtain feedback on the costs and budget of the e-Manifest program, as well as discuss the following priorities:

  • Increasing electronic adoption
  • Expanding end user support
  • Enhancing outreach programs
  • Coordination with Department of Transportation (DOT)

Pertaining to the cost of the program, the U.S. EPA is considering two approaches to modifying the fees for the FY 2024 and 2025 cycle. These include a proposed $2 increase for image uploads, a $3 decrease for data plus image uploads, and potentially a $2 decrease for full electronic usage for program users. More information on fees can be found here.
