We are excited to welcome Demetrios Milonas as Program Manager for Rail and Transit Facilities
Demetrios brings more than 36 years of program, project and construction management experience for construction projects related to buildings and transit facilities at the MTA New York City Transit. He recently started with APTIM and is providing subject matter expertise in program and construction management related to vertical buildings.
Prior to APTIM, Demetrios was a Program Manager who managed the planning, design, and the various project delivery methods for construction projects funded through the MTA Capital Program. The projects included work at rail maintenance and overhaul shops, rail yards and facilities and bus depots for a total project value in excess of $1.0 Billion.
Demetrios started his career in engineering and operations management, and then transitioned to the management and supervision of construction projects from planning to the close out phases.
He is a registered New York Professional Engineer and holds Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in New York.
