By combining regulatory instruction with interactive, site-specific examples, APTIM developed and facilitated in-person regulated waste training for a confidential retailer and helped operational staff build confidence in day-to-day compliance and improve consistency across locations.

Project History

APTIM was contracted to develop a training program focused on hazardous waste theory and its application to the client’s procedures. The project scope included the development of a 4 hour on-site training session for approximately 500 operational associates responsible for regulated waste management across the client’s facilities. The training addressed the following topics.

APTIM collaborated with the client to develop a hands-on component providing associates with insight into how those processes are conducted at the facility. This included an in-field regulated waste management review and training to ensure accurate waste characterization, utilization of internal tools, and additional resources.

Each participant received a certificate of completion from the APTIM trainer, confirming successful participation. Feedback from both the client and associates was overwhelmingly positive, with 75% rating the training as “Excellent” and 23% as “Good.”
