Supporting hospitality company Delaware North’s net zero plan for the park facilities it operates in Yellowstone National Park (including 11 Yellowstone general stores and a retail warehouse), APTIM offered our services to assess opportunities to reduce environmental impact:
- Conducted energy, water, and waste audits for over a dozen high priority properties
- Identified over $100,000 of annual cost-saving opportunities
- Delivered comprehensive reports and roadmaps to support sustainability goals
- Recommended no- to low-cost opportunities for immediate savings and sustainability benefits
Project History
APTIM conducted energy, water, and waste audits at park stores, warehouses, and offices operated by Delaware North to support an update to its net zero plan. As an industry leader, Delaware North has been taking action to reduce its environmental impact through its GreenPath® program for over two decades. Supporting this initiative, and the inherent interest in environmental conservation at national parks, APTIM helped to quantify and understand the impact of onsite facilities.
With the mission of helping our client adapt and improve long-term strategy to meet its goals, our audit team assessed current operations to recommend tangible ways to immediately reduce costs and resources and improve sustainability.
