Hazardous waste audits are conducted annually at 20 to 30 retail locations and include inspections, procedural reviews, and training. Waste diversion audits have further supported the client in achieving Total Resources Use and Efficiency (TRUE) Zero Waste certifications at its headquarters building and distribution centers.

Hazardous materials transportation compliance services include program development, assistance with special permits for transporting materials such as lithium batteries, and annual audits of primary and downstream recycling vendors. APTIM also provides ongoing regulatory review services, delivering monthly summaries of proposed and new regulations affecting the client’s operations.
