Alan Weakley serves as the President & Program Manager of Strategic Storage Partners, LLC, a joint venture comprised of APTIM and BWX Technologies, Inc. which currently manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Alan previously served as APTIM’s Executive Vice President for Government & Growth and President of APTIM Federal Services, where he led large-scale federal and commercial operations focused on reliability, safety, and compliance. His leadership has guided APTIM to national recognition as a top-ranked contractor in fuels, oil and gas, and environmental compliance by Engineering News-Record. Alan is committed to driving operational excellence, safety culture, and seamless transitions across multi-year federal programs.
Alan is a hands-on executive and for over 30 years has lead operations in growth and operational excellence in engineering, maintenance, construction management, and field services. Alan’s clients span the market to include multiple US government agencies, state municipalities, and commercial oil and gas multinationals.
Prior to joining APTIM, he was President and Chief Operations Officer of Janus Global Operations, a leading environmental, security, and oil field services company. Before Janus Global Operations, Alan held leadership roles with CSC’s North American public sector defense group and URS Corporation, providing operations and maintenance, engineering, and field service services to several US Government agencies.
Alan is a US Navy veteran with service aboard two nuclear fast attack submarines. He earned his Master of Engineering Management from George Washington University.
