Employee Spotlight: Emily Reed

From temp assignment to vice president of human resources and administration, Emily Reed leads the development and implementation of human resources strategies that drive the highest level of employee engagement and performance. In this role, she designs strategies for talent acquisition and retention, diversity and inclusion, employee relations and training. She also leads APTIM’s Global Corporate Security team, travel program, and real estate portfolio.

With over 15 years of experience, Emily began her career with an APTIM legacy company and previously held a variety of roles within Administration and HR including Senior Director of Corporate HR focused in benefits, compensation, HRIS, and compliance.

Emily attributes her success to deliberate career development and opportunity provided by APTIM. “My direct managers and others supported my growth and gave me visibility and the opportunity to take on new tasks,” says Emily.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University.
