Quality Programs - ISO, NQA-1, CSA-N299, CQCM
APTIM’s Quality Management System (QMS) was developed to meet the requirements of multiple recognized industry quality standards and programs. These requirements are implemented through the use of a Quality Assurance program consisting of Policies and Procedures that are used by both functional organizations and specific projects. Quality requirements are applied based on contract and business needs by careful selection and implementation of appropriate QMS policies and procedures.
APTIM’s QMS contains policies, procedures, instructions, and forms that comply with the following quality standards:
ISO 9001 – International Standards Organization program used to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements
NQA-1 – Nuclear Quality Assurance regulatory standard created and maintained by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
CSA-N299 – Canadian quality assurance program for nuclear power plants
UFGS 01 45 99 Quality Control – Used on all Federal projects and includes Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) certification requirements
