Entergy—Grand Gulf Nuclear Generating Station
APTIM provides best-in-class maintenance, modification and construction services to Entergy at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, located near Port Gibson, Mississippi. The station is a single-unit GE BWR-6 MARK III boiling water reactor, generating 1,250 MW of electricity. The plant has a 520-foot natural draft cooling tower. The scope of services include modification and supplemental maintenance services, and capital projects.
Staff/Craft Levels: 4/600—Outage 1/40—Non-Outage

- Snubber testing and installation
- ISI support
- Electrical modifications
- Piping modifications
- Civil modifications
- Operate polar crane and turbine gantry crane
- Cooling tower maintenance and repair
- Plant painting
- Scaffold support
- Plant chiller replacement/ modifications
- Suppression pool platform installation
- Suppression pool suction strainer installation
APTIM provides maintenance and modification services to the Entergy North and South nuclear fleets, including Grand Gulf Nuclear Generating Station. APTIM enjoys a successful relationship with Entergy, a strategic account. We have supported numerous refuel outages and forced outages over the past several years. APTIM utilizes mixed craft for certain tasks to maintain a diverse workforce for possible emergent work. We also move core group craft employees from site to site to support refueling outages and forced outages.
