Jenny Riley

As vice president of marketing and communications, Jenny directs teams responsible for communications, brand positioning, public relations, and marketing. She orchestrates APTIM’s brand messaging and incorporates insights from our people and clients to make sure it is authentic and inspirational.

She has over 20 years of strategic marketing, consumer research, and brand building experience. Prior to joining APTIM, Jenny served as associate director of marketing and communications at Elevate Energy, a non-profit organization, designing and implementing marketing strategies for energy and water programs that reduce costs, protect people and the environment, and ensure the benefits of clean and efficient energy use reach those who need them most.

Jenny has a Bachelor of Arts in English from U.C. Berkeley and Master of Science in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University. She is certified in digital marketing and as a Project Management Professional. Committed to DEI and empowering women in the environmental industry, Jenny is committee chair of mentorship with the Chicago Chapter of Women’s Energy Network; communications chair with Advancing Women in Energy; committee member of marketing for AESP; and member of Moguls in Marketing, a network of female marketing leaders worldwide.
